Dillodins

Small and nimble with often colourful back plating!

MYO Colouring

Like all subspecies, Dillodin MYOs firstly use a different bunch of palettes compared to Standards. So you cannot have a Dillodin using the standard MYO palettes and such. On another note, their back plating must be a colour already featured on their palette.

However this is overruled when it comes to using special palettes such as the Hallowrise Palettes or the Early Bird Palettes. Those are usable with any MYO no matter what species.

Anatomy

When it comes to anatomy, Dillodins have 3 main features that set themselves apart from the other Species of Dopaline.

  • Their small size and stature.

  • The curious, pill bug or armadillo like plating that covers their back.

  • Their incapability to grow features that would typically be on their backs such as a pair of back wings or spines.

Alongside these features, which if you must know will stick with them their entire lives, there are also some more minor traits that they typically have from birth.

  • Hero Ears

  • Kitten Claws

  • Snaggle Switch

A Brief History of the Subspecies

Dillodins are native to Laswoid, which is well known for it's warm and dry climate so most wonder how such small Dopalines managed to thrive there. Research has proved though that their unusual size and back plating came from evolving in such a way that made Dillodins much harder for predatory animals to catch, their long ears were merely there to aid with loosing heat and the claws most likely for defense against smaller beasts.

The beasts that hunted Dillodins are called Marlogars, in fact these fearsome creatures nowadays are domesticated as mounts in Laswoid.
