Growing Up Your Dopaline
Now, you're probably here since your little dopal is ready to head into teen or adulthood, right? Growing up gives your kid loads more opportunities! Teenage dopalines unlock a whole slew of new upgrades, as well as the ability to learn magic!
Be sure that there's no childhood plots that you want to finish off before you grow them up. Once they've become an adult, they'll probably be an adult forever. It's been rumored there's an item that may be able to change them back? But odds of finding it seem low.
Requirements
There are two ways your dopaline can qualify for teenhood! They must either:
Method 1
----
Have the Dopaline growing up be level 5 or more,
and have at least 1 fullbody drawing of them drawn by you.
(not counting application art)
Method 2
----
Have 5 drawings (fullbody/halfbody) of the dopaline growing up drawn by you.
(not counting application art)
Anatomy
Dopaline are very special, as they get older they have the ability to continue to stand on all fours, OR stand up on their hind legs! It's easy for Dopaline to switch, and many end up having a preference! ​

Dopaline also come in many different heights and body shapes as they get older, feel free to make them buff, skinny, chubby, whatever suits your fancy! Experiment!
In terms of height, this is where standards tend to be! There's lot of variation!
6 - 4.5ft : Biped (standing on two legs)
4.1 - 3' ft : Quad (Walking on all fours)

Your Dopaline's arms and legs will always generally be about the same length! This is what allows them to walk on all fours, and on two legs.
Certain subspecies tend to favor different styles, although biologically every dop can walk on either all fours or on two legs, historically Terrorhowls would walk on four legs, and Snow Wardens would walk on two, although as time progressed, such stereotypes have mostly become irrelevant.

Adulthood
Indeed, there is a stage after teenage! Adulthood is the stage that truly unlocks the bound to your dopaline - while childhood is a time of fun and discovering the world around them, and teenage is considered a time of growing and learning, an adult dopaline is ready to go out and see the world, perhaps fight, maybe get a job or even start a family!
There's a lot less that goes into growing your dopaline into adulthood - it's mostly based on age! Your dopaline's total age will have to be 1 month, while they'll also have to have been a teenager for 1 week! You'll also need to have 1 fullbody of the dopaline as a teenager drawn by you, not including the app art.

To grow your dopaline from teenage to adulthood, you'll simply need to fill in the adult template pinned in #baby-and-grow-up-approvals!
