Terrorhowls

Big, bulky, kinda like the Hunchback of Notre Dame but I can assure you they're the sweetest Dops you'll ever know!

MYO Colouring

Like all subspecies, Terrorhowl MYOs firstly use a different bunch of palettes compared to Standards. So you cannot have a Terrorhowl using the standard MYO palettes and such.

However this is overruled when it comes to using special palettes such as the Hallowrise Palettes or the Early Bird Palettes. Those are usable with any MYO no matter what species.

Anatomy

When it comes to anatomy, Terrorhowls have 4 main features that set themselves apart from the other Species of Dopaline.

  • Their large size.

  • Their strange incapability to not possess some form of claws or talons.

  • The scruffy tufts of fur featured on their cheeks, back, elbows, thighs and the back of their legs.

  • The incapability of being Plantigrade no matter the stance.

  • Their natural slouched or hunched over stance, in quads this appears more like an arched back.

Alongside these features, which if you must know will stick with them their entire lives, there are also some more minor traits that they typically have from birth.

  • Jaggedy Ears

  • Draconic Claws

A Brief History of the Subspecies

Terrorhowls were once believed that they weren't meant to exist, a mere fluke or fault in the evolutionary system. That was until in recentish years, scientific research had found that Terrorhowls had developed their standout features in order to safely live and roam their native region of the Bound, Kovalcre.

With it's thick bramble-covered forests and murky mashes, no wonder Terrorhowls thrived so well there with their size and appearance scaring off predators while those talons and claws helped make traversing large thorny woodlands a breeze.

At one point in time, Terrorhowls weren't even seen as real Dopalines! They were instead recorded as a creature called the Moorland Mauler.
